Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I've been coming here for years...but I have to say that the quality of their food has suffered as of late. Their prices have always been a little more than most local Chinese restaurants..however I never minded since it was a much better food. Lately, their food, menu & decor are very tired.Needless to say..there is much more competition now. Time to step up the game.

Try the double flavored shrimp! Best shrimp fried rice and egg rolls around as well! Love this place for takeout!

Overall a solid experience, a 3.5 if I could give half stars. Extremely friendly waitstaff who accommodated us late in the evening. Mixed drinks are pricy and honestly not great, (my Zombie was a little weak and made with orange soda?) so I'd stay away from them, but the food was nicely done. Obviously fresh, good preparation, nice portions and high quality ingredients. The flavor was good but not amazing, and I wish my dish (Kung Pow chicken) was spicy as advertised. It wasn't bland, but had not even a hint of spice. All in all, I would definitely go back. I want to try some other dishes and I'll revise my review.

My wife and I have eaten at this place a couple of times now and each time we've been here we've agreed that the food is really good. This time I was there I noticed that they now serve Sushi and Vietnamese food. Vietnamese food? I thought really? In Bel Air MD? No way! I grew up in Harford County MD and I never thought I would see the day when Vietnamese food would be in Bel Air. As I walked in it looked the same as it had the last time. Nice, clean and spacious. We were greeted promptly and were seated almost immediately. I looked over the menu and sure enough, they had a menu sheet full of Vietnamese dishes and appetizers. It wasn't as extensive as you'd find in a Vietnamese restaurant but it had the most common dishes and appetizers you would expect to find such as pho, spring rolls, summer rolls, grilled pork chop and other common dishes. After looking over the menu I decided that I would try the pho. My wife and I got the Pu Pu plater to split, an order of the chicken with mixed vegetables in black bean sauce and a hot & sour soup. I got the pho as my entree. The Pu Pu plater was good. It came with two beef on a stick, a half an order of shrimp toast, an egg roll that was cut in half, two fried crab ragoon and two spare ribs. It was good all around and I really liked the flavor of the beef on the stick. My pho came to the table in a nice medium sized bowl. I don't think they serve any other size pho there since I didn't see two different prices. The pho broth was pretty tasty even before I added the squeeze of lime juice, bean sprouts and hot sauce. The broth isn't what I am really used to but after eating it for a few minutes I found it to be enjoyable. We left feeling full and satisfied. My wife asked if I would eat pho there again and I said I would. It wasn't bad at all. The price for a bowl is more than I would normally pay but since I was craving a bowl and wanted to try their pho out I was willing to pay the price. Give this place a try. I haven't had the sushi here but I have had the Chinese food and the pho. Both are tasty and I hope you will think the same.

We always get take out here. Even though they are busy, the wait time (especially if you call it in) is a decent 15-20 mins on a regular basis. We like their Gen Tso chicken because you don't get wads of fat in it (like other places) and it's not so heavy (battered/greasy). Good flavor. Chicken fried rice is good. They are consistent with service, flavor and wait times....for this reason, we are regulars. :)

This is a local family owned restaurant. I frequent it as they make my sons favorite meal well. General Tao chicken. Two reasons not to go. It is the most expensive Chinese restaurant in harford county but serves the smallest portions. They literally don't even fill carry out containers. Second reason. Took son today and cook forgot sugar in general sauce. Was just tasteless but we all make mistakes so I told waiter. He gets owner who states it's fine but no charge and takes food. I asked him to taste it he refused. My nine year old asked me if he essentially told us to get out and I told him yes. Try others

I love this place. I thoroughly enjoy the family who own and run the restaurant. Their food is always flavorful and fresh. I haven't eaten in the restaurant in a while but recall them being prompt and friendly. Their take-out is always ready when they say. I especially love the veggie moo-shu and szechuan style bean curd. Also really good veggie lo mein. They've definitely got the recipes down here. I find their prices to be very appropriate given the proportions of food. I've never had sushi there but they have a cute little sushi bar separated from the main dining area. I also really like that I am supporting a local, family owned business-- their food is awesome and so are they. Try it!

This place has the honor of serving me the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. I should've turned around when I saw the faded signs outside and the offerings from a mish-mash of Asian cultures. A confused identity usually means bad food. Those little crispy noodles you get before your food were probably the highlight of the meal. I ordered General Tso's chicken, and my boyfriend ordered five-flavor chicken and vegetable chow mein. The food came out very fast, reflecting the lack of quality here. The batter on the General Tso's chicken was so thick and tough that I could barely cut or chew it. The chicken itself was dry and tasteless. The chow mein was basically a plate of soggy steamed veggies with a few soggy (formerly crispy) noodles on the bottom. The five-flavor chicken was passable but just very bland and boring. It had no distinct taste and tasted very similar to the General Tso's but more sour. The waiter was friendly, but his English skills were limited. My boyfriend was asking if a dish had dark or light meat, but we couldn't really communicate this to him. He asked a manager and came back with a completely unrelated answer. In short, go anywhere but here. Don't waste your time or your money. Myself, I picked up a frozen pizza at Shoprite on the way home, and I am sure it will be at least twenty times tastier.

I must agree with Liz C. as this is the worst Chinese food in Harford County. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and my wife ordered the happy family. My food had little taste and my wife couldn't finish her meal because of the poor taste and quality. When we arrived at the restaurant, on a Sunday evening, there were only a few customers and I should have taken the hint. It should be noted, however, that I did dine here about a year before and the food was fairly good, and there were many more customers in this establishment.

Came here for a Chinese food fix. Gross!! Our food was so nasty. The sweet and sour chicken had pickles and maraschino cherries in it. Really? My Szechuan beef was just a brown gob of mushed up stuff.. Had no spiciness to it AT ALL! Our waiter was borderline nice, until some other Asian customers came in and he kinda lost interest in us. Thank goodness we were visiting and don't have to come back here again. Steer clear!

Horrible. I threw mine in the trash. Down side to ordering with a group.

Oh My God!!! Contrary to the saying I will definitely NOT be hungry again in 30 minutes after dining at the Golden Szechuan Inn!!!!! Talk about an extravaganza of flavor!!! We started out with Golden flaky egg rolls followed by General Tso's Chicken (request the extra spicy....you will NOT be disappointed) accompanied by Moo Shu Pork and Chicken (I am putting Plum sauce on EVERYTHING from now on) and finally Roast Pork/Chicken/Shrimp Fried Rice! Not only did I have to adjust my belt to a larger size, there were plenty of leftovers to take home!!! In addition to the delicious food the service was spectacular. My ice cold beer was in my hand not more than 3 minutes after ordering! I highly recommend checking them out. Bring lots of people so that you can share and sample more than one delicious plate!!!

I've been looking for a place to compare to my old favorite Chinese food place since moving back to Bel Air and this is the place! I typically order the beef lo mein because it's one of the few places where the meat and noodles compliment each other flavor wise. My other favorite dish includes the chicken and broccoli, and for appetizers the crab wontons are delicious. Sushi is something I'm still getting the tastebuds for but from what I've tried, the california rolls are not that bad! I've ordered out and eaten in the restaurant several times and I find the owners to be welcoming whether you're picking up or sitting. As every time I've sat down, eating in offers a very classy but casual atmosphere.
